FREE KILN
Message from Dorothy Cockrell:
I helped clear the late May Yarker's studio a couple of weeks ago. May's daughters are looking to donate her kiln. They are willing to give it free to anyone who is prepared to pay the carriage from Thurso and they would like rid of it as soon as possible.
It's a Northern kilns maxi, with controller, stand and firing furniture. The firing chamber is 12" x 12" and 5" high. External measurements are 21" wide x 21and a half " deep x 17" high. May bought it in 1966, but it seems in very good condition and hasn't been used in recent years since she became too frail to lift heavy pieces. I have some digital photographs if anyone wants to see them.
Anyone who is interested should get in touch with me and I will give them her daughter's phone number or send them the digital images.

Many Thanks, Dorothy dorothy@cockrell.worldonline.co.uk
