Invitation from THE GUILD OF ENAMELLERS

We would like to invite all members of the BSOE & IVE to view our members’ exhibition at our annual conference at Leicester. Our conference and exhibition is not open to the general public, so this is an opportunity for any BSOE/IVE member who does not know the Guild, to come and get a taste of what we are about, and see some of our members work.

The Guild of Enamellers Conference is being held at Leicester University.
The Members Exhibition and Dinner is on Saturday 29th March 2008
TIME: 4.00pm – 11.00pm
COST: £28 (strictly by ticket only – limited places)

Programme of events
4.00pm onwards Arrival of guests to view exhibition in Quenby Suite, New Hall
4.00 – 5.00pm Suppliers available in Senior Common Room, lower floor New Hall
6.30pm Pre-dinner drinks available in New Hall Bar
7.00pm Dinner in New Hall Dinning Room (Wine available)
8.30 pm Another chance to view exhibition in Quenby Suite
9.00pm Informal presentation by Chris Taylor – Institute of Vitreous Enamellers
in Swithland & Tilton Suite
Followed by members tutorial feedback from workshops held today.
New Hall Bar open

Suppliers at conference will include; Marcia Lanyon – precious beads; HS Walsh – tools & equipment; Art Clay – silver metal clay; WG Ball – lead free enamels, materials & equipment; Thompson Enamels & special products; Vitrum Signum – enamel materials and equipment. ( All suppliers are happy to bring pre-ordered items to conference for free collection.)
