2010 sees the launch of a variety of short courses at the univeristy that are designed to introduce the beginner to Silversmithing and Jewellery as well as accommodating those with more experience.
Training and skills are essential in order to improve employability and earning potential as well as for enhancing the quality of experience. These short courses are designed to cover a broad range of skills and specialisms with enthusiastic staff and a friendly environment. Whether you are a jeweller or silversmith or just want an interesting and enjoyable pass-time there is a course for you.
Each course has a certificate of completion and every year there is an exhibition of the students work through all the different courses.
