Enamel Symposium ~ “Wheels of Muses” project

Annual International Symposiums on Enamel Art in Rostov the Great take place in summer.

The number of members is 5-8 persons.
Date: 22nd of June – 03 July 2008


Conditions:
Symposium fees are 200 euro, which includes

• Lab / organizational fees. • Group Exhibition at the Khors Gallery. • The edition of the booklet of an exhibition • Excursion to the Rostov Kremlin and the Museum of Russian Enamels • Visits to several enameling factories specializing in enamel painting and private artists studios.

Some necessary tools and kiln with inner size: 30×40×8 cm is in our workshop. Copper may be ordered before hand from the supplier in Russia. Liquid industrial enamels will be available for everyone. Paintbrushes sandpaper and over glaze paints may be purchased at the local store. Participants are encouraged to bring their own enamels, any additional materials and tools they prefer to use.


Lodging:
In guest house “Khors” 8 euro at night.
Food: breakfast and dinner at Khors House are offered. Lunch will be on your own at a café. (about 8 -10 euro per meal one day).

• Transportation from Moscow to Rostov, Rostov to Moscow, day trip to the historical Golden Ring towns of Uglich and Mishkin on the Volga River and boat trip on the lake Nero are offered for an additional fee.
We will send you an invitation as soon as the group is organized. The choice of participants is left to us. No smoking is permitted in the house!

PLEASE NOTE - Foreign artists should get an invitation to receive the visa ( very important ! )
